Our Purpose
Scripture: Matthew 25:34 – 36
“Then the King will say to those on his right, come you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.” “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.” “I was naked, and you gave me clothing, I was sick, and you cared for me, I was in prison, and you visited me.”
Our moral character, and outward evidence demonstrates our passion for Jesus Christ and passion for winning souls. We all must have a hunger and passion to be fed from God’s word. As the deer pants for the water we must be “thirsty” for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We must have a burden for the lost, love the lost, and pray for the lost. We must have a passion for Jesus to be filled with His Holy Spirit, be clothed in Him and walk in His righteousness.
We must visit those that are sick and in need of caring. We must be open to those that are bound in prison either criminally or bound in darkness and walk with them.
Our reward is found in Matthew 25: 46 “… but the righteous will go into eternal life.”
